Dubbing languages
In the « Langues de doublage » (Dubbing languages) card, click « Choisir les langues » (Choose languages), search for a language or country and tick your versions, up to 12 per project. Confirm with « Terminer » (Done).
Several languages come with their accents: American or British English, Spanish from Spain or Mexico, French from France or Canada, Modern Standard Arabic, Moroccan Darija, Egyptian, Levantine and more. The full list is on the Languages page.
Estimated volume
The summary to the right of the form shows the source duration, the number of languages and the estimated volume: duration × languages. An 8-minute video in 3 languages represents 24 minutes of dubbing.
Voices
For each language, the « Voix par langue » (Voices per language) card offers three options:
- « Automatique » (Automatic): the studio picks a voice that matches each speaker's gender. This is the simplest option.
- « Bibliothèque » (Library): you choose a voice yourself from more than 18,000, which you can listen to on the Voices page.
- « Voix de l’orateur » (Speaker's voice): a voice close to the speaker's own, only with their consent (see the Voice and consent guide).
One voice per speaker
When the video features several people, the studio separates them and gives each one a different voice. You can change these voices in « Réglages avancés » (Advanced settings), « Doublage » (Dubbing) tab: two speakers cannot share the same voice.
