Review speakers and translation

Fix a name, a sentence or who says a line before the voice is created.

Everything works without touching anything

By default, the studio translates and dubs on its own as soon as the transcript is ready. Reviewing is optional: it helps when you want to get a proper name, a brand, a joke or a technical term just right.

Speakers and original text

Open the project, then « Réglages avancés » (Advanced settings), « Doublage » (Dubbing) tab, step « 1. Intervenants et texte original » (1. Speakers and original text).

  • Rename each speaker and set the gender of their voice.
  • Choose the main narrator.
  • Assign a line to the right person and correct its text.
  • Add a missing speaker (up to 20).
  • Save with « Enregistrer les intervenants » (Save speakers).

The translation, line by line

In step « 2. Traduction » (2. Translation) for each language, every translated line can be edited. An empty line stays silent; « Conserver la voix originale » (Keep the original voice) keeps the original voice on that passage, useful for a quote or a song.

  • « Enregistrer la traduction » (Save translation) keeps your changes.
  • « Valider la traduction » (Approve translation) confirms the version to dub.
  • « Réplique incertaine » (Uncertain line) flags a passage worth listening to again.

Review tips

Check people's and brand names first, then numbers, negations and local expressions. A translated sentence longer than the original may be sped up: prefer a shorter wording.
